In my opinion, the dress works if carried out properly

by paring a simple fitted black blazer and black opaque tights.

I would think that you need to be spending a little time in a padded room
if you PAY
for shoes that look like a synthetic-shiny-disturbing-with-STICHES high-heeled version of things you already have.
You can't possibly be that embarrassed about your feet to want to cover them with a plasticized version complete with built-in heels would you?

Haha, I have seen a blogger's mom wearing that angry gorilla dress...it's looks quite 3D and interesting in real life actually.
